Founded and run by husband-and-wife team Carwyn and Alex, Olives & Oils has become a much-loved destination for beautiful artisan produce, exceptional olive oils and carefully sourced ingredients. Their passion for quality food and independent producers is reflected in every corner of the shop, making it one of our favourite places to recommend to guests staying at Jacob Cottage.

Founded from a genuine passion for food and provenance, Olives & Oils specialises in outstanding olive oils, balsamics, antipasti and artisan produce sourced from small producers.
The moment you step inside, the shop feels warm, welcoming and full of discovery. Beautiful bottles of extra virgin olive oil line the shelves alongside olives, cheeses, charcuterie, fresh bread, crackers and carefully chosen pantry favourites.
Everything feels thoughtful and personal… the kind of independent business that adds real character to a place.
Perfect for Slow Evenings at Jacob Cottage
Guests staying at Jacob Cottage often stop by before heading back to the cabin for the evening.
A few favourite finds from Olives & Oils, some Welsh cheese, Brindisa nuts and cured meats for pizza toppings make for the perfect relaxed night in.
There’s something incredibly satisfying about returning from the beach, unpacking beautiful local produce in the outdoor kitchen and settling in beneath the trees for a slow evening outdoors.
